Management NVQ Level 3 Certificate

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competence of managers in the workplace. If you are working as a manger in any industry sector this qualification will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, such as managing budgets, managing projects, and planning and implementing change within the organisation. The course will give you increased confidence in your leadership skills, and give you the opportunity to develop new managerial skills to improve staff performance and motivation.

Entry requirements

You must be working in a management role in any employment sector.

Course content

A minimum of 25 credits are required overall for completion of this qualification, which must include a minimum of 14 credits at, or above, Level 3.

Mandatory units (credit value: 14)

  • Managing your own professional development within an organisation (4 credits)
  • Setting objectives and providing support for team members (5 credits)
  • Planning, allocating and monitoring work of a team (5 credits)

You will also choose from a selection of optional units, with a total credit value of 11. Your NVQ Assessor will help you choose the units most appropriate to your job role.

Further study and career options

On successful completion of this course you can progress to the Management NVQ Level 5 Diploma.
