Designing Websites using HTML5 & CSS3: Introduction

  • B

HTML5, promoted as the most important change to the World Wide Web since the development of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), is now widely adopted by browser vendors and supported by numerous hardware devices – including Apple iPhone, iPad and Google Android.  Because implementation is still relatively new, designers and developers are just cracking the surface as they begin using the mark-up language in existing or newly developed websites and for designing across multiple platforms. You’ll master HTML5 in a few hours – not days and discover what HTML5 features can be used on your site now and what techniques you can use to maintain browser compatibility.

This short course is for both the complete beginner as well as for those with some familiarity with building websites who wish to enhance their knowledge of the new features and functionality offered by HTML5.
