Fundamental Inspection & Testing City & Guilds 2392-10 Level 2 Award (workplace)
This three-day short course will provide you with an introduction to the testing of electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 (IEE 16th Edition), and is aimed at electrical personnel who lack practical experience or require a refresher.

This course will cover the following topics:
- Continuity of protective and bonding conductors
- Ring circuit continuity
- Insulation resistance
- Live Polarity, earth loop impedance and PSC
- RCD operation.
Successful completion of this course will lead to the awarding of a Bedford College underpinning knowledge certificate: Testing of Electrical Installation (Practical).
You will be assessed through a City & Guilds online exam and a practical assessment.
Lunch will be provided with this course.
